Windows PowerShell Builder for SharePoint -2013, 2010, Office 365 & SharePoint Online – an HTML 5 Application.
Recently I came across an amazing tool and i am  not sure if many people are aware of this tool, so thought why not blog about this.

Note: This tool is an HTML 5 Applications and requires a browser that supports HTML 5.

This tool his pretty hand for developers or administrators who doesn’t have much hands-on on PowerShell commands. You can find the tool here. PowerShell builder enables users to drag and drop commands on to the designer surface it provides.

Let me drilldown into the various sections it provides in this tool.

  1. Design Surface: This sections consist of Verb, Noun, Required Fields, Optional Fields and the PowerShell Command View.
  2. Verbs: It defines the action to be performed by the cmdlet.
  3. Nouns: It defines the entity on which the action is to be performed.
  4.  Quick steps: The quick steps section as some of the predefine PowerShell commands which are frequently used. If you use this option the drag and drop functionality gets disabled and the required and Optional sections get populated with the predefined commands.
  5. Products: You can choose the version of SharePoint for which you would like to build the PowerShell commands. The supported versions are
  • SharePoint Server 2013
  • SharePoint Foundation 2013
  • SharePoint Online
  • SharePoint Server 2010
  • SharePoint Foundation 2010
  • Office 365
  • SharePoint Online

To use this tool you need to drag and drop cmdlets from Verbs and Nouns section on to the verb and noun button/section of the design surface respectively.
